The Cogs of K1 R.I.G 🤖
The people of Kryxivia come from many horizons, almost none of them come from a regular army, so their outfits are mostly mismatched and picked up along the way. Full metal gear is not readily available in this world, so unless extremely rich, people tend to wear both cloth, leather, and metal combined. One of the books owned by the Sage describes a stranger who visited the city many years ago:
“… a wealthy knight named Cog came to the city. He had purses filled with gold coins. In the following days, he began to gather people who would go with him to the Mine. He promised them that he would divide the loot equally, and each member would gain eternal glory. Many inhabitants agreed, and preparations for the expedition began. They set out at dawn on the day of the summer solstice. Two days later, screams and cries for help could be heard from the depths of the Mine…”
None of the people came out. Rescue attempts were made to recover the gold that the Knight took with him to the Mine. Unfortunately, neither the treasure nor the man was found. Weeks later, the townspeople saw a monster wearing the same armor as the Knight closing the door to the Mine at night. In the books, we can read the second excerpt, which tells the speculations of one Kryxivia inhabitants.
“…The magic protecting Kryxits reached Cog, turning him into one of the mine guardians. A seasoned mechanical knight who will stand up to any daredevil he meets. People started to call him The Cogs of K1 R.I.G. Nobody knows where its full name came from. However, it is known that the Knight himself was very robotic in his actions. He didn’t speak long, gave simple commands, calculated every move, and didn’t waste his energy unnecessarily. It was probably thanks to these many skills that he made a huge fortune, a fortune he lost in the Mine forever… “
The Mine in Kryxivia hides many secrets, some of which we do not know yet. Anyone who dreams of gaining wealth and glory by tearing out Krixit and defeating the monsters is in great danger!
So far, apart from today’s Boss, we have met:
- The Flames of Alde, which is gushing hot,
- The Brewer of Atesgol — Maturing in the heart of Kryxit,
- The Landslide of Valtrena with sharp-edged pebble skin!
Who will meet the next monster and live to see the moment when he can tell the story?
